Benefit Analysis Of Ecological Migration In Tarim River Basin Area

In 2001, the central government brings the project of ecological migration in Tarim River Control Project. The ecological migration is migration activity that optimizes and coordinates people-land relationship. It has important practical significance for improving the basin area ecological environment, raising the basin area people's production and living standards. Basing ecological protection and amelioration, government organized the activity, selected the better place for environment refugees (ecological refugees), to accelerate pauper who live in deteriorated ecological area to migrate. The writer of this dissertation puts the dissertations under the migration theory of Regional Economics, sociology and ecology. The dissertation analyzes the background, practice, efficiency and risks of ecological migration by some research methods such as field investigate, case analysis, empirical analysis.At first, it expounds the base of ecological immigrants theory, It consider that ecological migration theory should including immigration reason theory, migration direction theory, migration effect theory etc. The main assignment of ecological migration research in Tarim River Basin Area is to analyze ecological benefits, social benefits and economic benefits that are brought by ecological migration.The second chapter analyzes the background and practice of ecological migration in the Tarim River Basin Area from ecological environment changes. Many farmers and herdsmen are living in desert, borders and alpine mountains where harsh natural conditions and ecological environment is very fragile and social development poor, economic development lags, ecological migration will be done.Third, ecological migration in Tarim River Basin were summarized and analyzed, focusing on analysis of the economic benefits arising from ecological migration.Finally, basing eco-benefit analysis of migration, the chapter put forward countermeasures for risk aversion and coordinated development from the standpoint of sustainable development. It considers that we should combine scientific planning with local conditions, government support with self-reliance, the recent development with t sustainable development.
