Coordination Function Of China's Government On The Development Of Charitable Organizations

With the transition of China's entire economic system, social gap between rich and poor is widening, social contradictions have intensified. The development of charitable organizations plays an important role among the promotion of social equity and justice, maintaining social stability and unity, promoting the superiority of the socialist system and consolidating the social basis of the ruling party. At present, China is lagging behind in the development of charity. Our government should change their functions as soon as possible and clarify the duties and boundaries between the government and society and play their due co-ordination to promote the charitable organizations to develop better and faster.Paper first describes the development process of China's charity cause and the current status of China's charitable organizations and then analyses the salient features of the major problems. This paper argues that under the rapid development of China's charity since the nineties, there are many problems among the lack of awareness of citizens charity,weakness of the charitable organizations,defective of charity policies and regulations. And these problems mainly caused by the absence and dislocation of the government's role.Papers of the third and fourth chapter are the focus of this paper .This part of the study deals with the importance of government's co-ordination function of charitable organizations and the constraints controlled by government. Based on the analysis of abroad charitable organizations and the different pattern of relations between the governments, study is unfolded, that is China's development model will be gradually transformed from charitable organization led by the government to government-civil society partners. Based on the research, the Government should promote charitable and cultural construction, reasonable charitable organizations to guide the functions of the building of governance structures to support charitable organizations to improve resource acquisition capacity, standardized and orderly operation of charitable organizations several aspects to play a coordinating function, and after that the charity will truly become a popular cause, a promoter in our country'healthy and rapid development.
