| People-oriented thoughts is an extraordinary treasure in the human thoughts system. It is also a prime concept of governing the country by the Communist Party of China as the essence and core of the scientific concept of development. With the passage of time, the following ideas are becoming the common agreement of the whole Party and the whole society, that we should respect the people as the subject, meet the demands of the people, protect the rights of the people, promote the all-around development of the people and realize the ultimate concern for the people. President Hu Jintao emphasizes that the scientific concept of development should be carry out in the coutry denfense and military construction across the various fields and through the entire process. As the fundamental part of the coutry denfense and military construction, military management due to imploy people- oriented thoughts to meet the urgent demand for carrying out the scientific concept of development, for inspiring the positivity, enthusiasm and creativity of the majority of the military, and for promoting the management quality and level.Based on the actual management of the armed forces, the thesis used Marxist stand, viewpoint and method for guidance, starting with history origins of the people-oriented thoughts, explained the reality meaning of people-oriented as well as the particular implication in the management of our army, and described the inevitability and necessity to carry out people-oriented thoughts in army management. Secondly, the thesis analyzed the contradictions and problems in the people-oriented area that existed in our military management, proposed the scientific method and approach of the practice of people-oriented thoughts. Then the thesis discussed the specific request to the managers'ability and quality about practicing people-oriented thoughts in army.
