Taiwan Party Politics has always been a hot issue in the studies of Taiwan Question, it is important that shown in three aspects:First, Taiwan realizes the economic modernization under the authoritarian one-party system. From this level that we think, what is the basis that promotes the establishment of the party-state authoritarian system in Taiwan, and how this system to promote the economic and social modernization.The second involves that how the economic modernization, which in turn contributes to the political transition, and how eventually led to the collapse of the authoritarian one-party system. So in other words, what is the pressure and power that promotes the transition. How these factors interact to influence the transition process, and what characteristics are being shown in the process.Third, Taiwan party politics completes the transition process in a peaceful way. That's why?Especially important, Taiwan's multi-party competitive political ecology will bring more uncertain influences on the cross-strait relations.Based on the three aspects above, this paper, from the general concept of party politics, analyzes the three stages that Taiwan party politics has experienced and the different characteristics in every period, and also forecasts the future development of Taiwan party politics. The article maintains in the end that, the re-integration between island's parties marks an end of multi-party disputes since Taiwan party political power has changed. A kind of"two-party system"model is to form, which takes two party alliances---"blue"and"green"as its characteristic. Meanwhile, the irrational factors are still serious barriers to prevent Taiwan party politics to develop healthily in the future, such as: ethnic conflict, the"Taiwan independence"ideology and physical conflicts.
