Ecology is a stable Dynamic complex system, created by plant, animal, microbial, alsoincluding humans, which have vital signs, and inanimate environment through theirrespective energy flow and demand exchange and mutual material circulation; in whichthey develop interdependently. Ecology refers to the natural environment in certain, plant,animal, microbial, also including humans have vital signs with the community throughtheir respective inanimate environment the energy flow and demand exchange and mutualmaterial circulation and form of interdependence and mutual development of stabledynamic complex system. The primary ecological problem is the ecological balance whichaims to solve the equality between man and nature, the harmony and developmentproblems. Marx was the first to talk about the unity of human and nature, on the basis ofwhich Marx developed his ecological theory. Based on Marxist materialism and combiningwith practice, the concepts about the unity of human and nature gradually formed theperfect Marxist ecological theory after successive thought changes. Marx's ecologicaltheory is the main theory guiding us to implement ecological construction in our country,especially in the process of constructing a harmonious society, instructing us for theconstruction of ecological civilization.This paper is divided into five parts, explains the historical evolution of Marxistecological theory and its theoretical and practical significance. First part: the definition ofMarxist ecological theory. This part explains some concepts relative to ecology andconcretely defines the ecological theory system of Marxism. Second part: the content ofMarx's ecological theory and its historical evolution. This part discusses the specificcontent of Marxist ecological theory and the process of development. Part 3:Characteristics. of Marx ecological theory. Marx ecological theory has scientific, practical,humanity and developmental features. Part four: the theoretical significance of Marx's ecological theory. First, Marx's ecological theory opens a new phase in ecology. Second,criticism of ecology in Euro-American countries on the basis of Marxism ecological theory.Third, the theoretical significance of Marxism ecological theory to China's ecologicalconstruction. Part 5: the practical value of Marx ecological theory. Marxist ecologicaltheory's main function is to guide the construction of ecological civilization in our country.
