Supply Chain Management(SCM)has become the hot topic industrial and academic area. On the background of Supply Chain Partnership(SCP),the paper does research on vendor partner selection method and puts forward a two-stage vendor selection model and coordinated mechanism. The main work of the paper is as follows::Firstly,the paper discusses the research status quo and the future directions of SCM and SCP, and illustrates the essentiality of SCP. Secondly, the supplier selection methods are analyzed in detail especially. Then,The paper improves the model of vendor selection based on present literature and develops a mixed-integer programming model for two-stage vendor selection, in which the performance levels of vendor's vendor will be considered. The vendor selection problem implies that some competing vendors will not be employed. In this paper, we develop a negotiation model to identify performance levels which non-selected vendors must attain in order to be competitive with the selected vendors. Two-stage vendor selection model will increase the benefit of the whole supply chain, but it may increase the cost of some members. So it's necessary to coordinate the benefit of every member. This paper sets up coordinated mechanism, in term of the character of two-stage vendor selection model. Lastly, the paper describes the method in detail with an invented case, which proves the validity of the method.
