| The development of the economy needs large numbers of high-grade managing talents, and how to cultivate talents need us to increase management education.Modern Chinese Management Education as it stands today stems and has developed from the needs caused by the policies of openness and reform. In a short span of twenty years, modern Chinese Management Education has experienced unprecedented development. But under the conditions of these new times, the development of management is facing many opportunities and challenges.In allusion to the few people who have undertaken systematic researches on Management Education in our country, the discussion of this thesis comprises three parts:Part â… is a general discussion of Management Education. Management Education is defined, the scope of this paper is expressed and the history of the development of Management Education in China and abroad is summarized. The three main forms of Chinese Management Education are analyzed.Part â…¡ analyzes questions pertaining to Chinese Management Education. First comes an analysis of the contemporary background of China's Management Education with a special emphasis on the influence exerted in many areas by thethree major background factors of knowledge economy, ongoing education and globalization; secondly, the gap between the management of the demands of the talent market and the management of education is analyzed; and thirdly the competition between the potential for creating educational institutions within the country versus on the international level is looked into.Part â…¢ is a reflection on the development of Chinese Management Education. The development of our country's Management Education is explored from five perspectives. First, is the question of contextualization by acquiring proper inspiration from traditional Chinese management philosophy; secondly, to stimulate our country's Management Education to link up with the rest of the world, by incorporating management experiences of Western developed nations; thirdly, to train "innovative-type" management talents on the basis of innovations in models of talent training; fourthly, to train "international-type" management talents, by facing current realities; fifthly, to actively explore and continually improve the case-based teaching approach. This part explores the development of China's Management Education, based on the analysis of the current status of Management Education and of the five representative questions mentioned above. |
