Studies On System, Model And Operation Pattern For Agricultural Extension Of Zhejiang Province In Epoch

Agricultural extension is an activity of rural social education that promotes the agricultural development, rural economic prosperity and peasant rich. The system, model and operation pattern of agricultural extension affect the efficiency of agricultural extension work, and decide the success or failure of agricultural extension enterprise. With the deep of improvement and open, developing and improving of socialist marketing economics, the original system, model and operation pattern of agricultural extension have not satisfied to the demand of agricultural and rural development Establishing of new system of agricultural extension and exploration of new model and operation pattern have been one of most important measures to solve the problem of "agriculture, countryside and peasant" in epoch.Through much investigation and collection of literature, the paper reviews the publication and development of system of agricultural extension and analyzes the differences of agricultural extension works between domestic and international.The paper indicated the basic characteristics of agricultural production in Zhejiang province. It is followed as: (1) There is a high density population but less land in province. The cultivated land has been continuously decreased. The scale of peasant production was small. (2) The plantation composition has been greatly adjusted. (3) The export agriculture has been greatly developed. (4) The pattern of region agriculture has been primarily formed. (5) The development of installation agriculture is very quick. (6) The target of agricultural production has changed from quantity to quality. (7) The competition of agricultural product market is further more severe.Through analysis of present situation of agricultural extension in China, especially, in Zhejiang province, integrated with the basic characteristics of Zhejiang agriculture, the paper indicated the faced problems of agricultural extension were:(l) The peasants put forward more, higher and newer demands. (2) The quality of agricultural extension staff is poor and is not satisfied to demand of agricultural extension in epoch. (3) The unitary system of agricultural extension is difficult to satisfy to demand of agricultural development in marketing economic condition. (4) The team of agricultural extension is not stability and the quantity of demonstration peasants of technology is constantly reduced. (5) It is deficient in the basic installation.
