Three Gorges migration is the biggest scale, the widest field of reservoir migration so far. The allocation of Three Gorges migration is a very difficult task, which is concerns in many benefits of several aspects, such as benefits among the country, the local government and the migration mass. The moving and allocation course of Three Gorges migration is the rebuild of the social and economical structure in the Three Gorges area; the migration's life, culture, psychology and other aspects are also changed a lot. They responded to the changed environments and adjusted their behaviors. Therefore, whether could they adapt the life in the new area and how they adapted is referred to the successful progress of migration work, the stability and development of the society. Thus, it's a sophisticated economic and social work.This essay consists of two main parts. First of all, it described and analyzed the present adaptation of Three Gorges migration based on the research data, mainly in the aspects of production environment, life environment and political involvement. The majority of the migrations have good adaptation on the production environment they give positive evaluations on the change of changed working type, objective and instrument of labor. They are satisfied with the improved living conditions and infrastructure; most of them rebuilt the relationship net successfully. Although migrations have demand on political involvement, the actual involvement is so limited that it has bad effects on the migrations' mentality.Secondly, the main parts of the essay summarized the present adaptation of the migration, and analyzed the influencing factors. It said that the massive favorable policies, improved conditions and the support of the local people take positive effect on the good adaptation. The adaptation of migration can be influenced by the cultural factors, social and economical factors, and negative psychological factors. At last, the essay discussed the characteristic of the Three Gorges migration's adaptation, and gave some advice on it.
