The building of governmental credibility is the focus of the building and perfecting of the social credit system. Credibility is the important part of management of power, credibility is the significant factor of deciding government image and effecting government public-trust. It's the most solid and lasting political source for government to gain the trust and support of the public. It's the strongest motive force for the direction demonstration and cultivation of the credit system of whole society, and also the basic requirement for government to manage society and strengthen self-building.Combining the background that contemporary china is in the transitional new period, using the logical analysis method, inductive method and the method of theory combining practice, etc, this paper researches and analyses the historical origin and contemporary value of governmental credibility, also analysis about the absence manifestation of contemporary government credibility and the inner reasons leading to this problem, aiming to make the search of solution to governmental credibility to be the final purpose of this paper.It's believed that the strengthening of governmental credibility should has not only the national restriction and the guaranty of system and legal system, but also the ethical restriction humanist ideas. Only when the two cooperation each other, could the strengthening of government credibility be fulfilled really.
