Research On Trust Of County Government In Liaoning Province

Government trust is defined that people trust in some objects such as government structure, government workers and public services. Specific administrative acts of government will affect the public satisfaction, at the same time, the inherent differences of different individuals will also affect in their evaluation of government actions. Therefore, a regional public trust in government is affected by both the subject and object impacts.In this study, we take all sectors of the rural village as the research object, and we use document analysis, interviews, questionnaires and statistics analysis to carry on the relevant theorial analysis, questionnaire design and dissemination, the result study about trust in government and its affecting factors. In this paper, we get 405 valid samples from four townships of Faku county Liaoning Province, and come to this study's conclusion.Public trust in the government includes three factors as government structure trust, government officers trust and public service trust. We found that these three factors on trust in government have a significant effect. In addition, the public trust in government has also been affected by a number of individual difference factors. Gender, age, education level factors will affect some of government trust factors, but they will not affect government trust. Career, income and the political landscape have a significant effect on government trust. Political culture, political awareness, interpersonal factors such as trust and confidence have a strong correlation with government trust and each of its factors.According to the study which is based on empirical results, we take some measures to elevate government trust. From the perspective of the villagers, it is better to improve political literacy and political participation. By doing that, we can guarantee the villagers get more government's understanding and awareness, thus they will make a more objective assessment to the local government. From the perspective of the Government against the government structure, government officials and public service, we also take some suggested measures in order to help the government to reduce the gap between the expectations of people and government action to enhance public trust in government.
