The high economic growth in China has caused enormous pressure to the natural environment. In order to solve the serious environmental problem, Chinese government has listed the industry of environmental protection in key one of investment field in the future, and the administration department of industrial economy has also attached more importance to the field of environmental protection, which has great potential in development. It's inevitable that lots of manufacturers and sellers of the water treatment device at home and abroad are fiercely competing in the market of China's water treatment. As a native manufacturer of water treatment in China, Huapu company has to set down its own marketing tactics of survival and development according to opportunities and challenge brought by its internal and external environment. The thesis first introduced current marketing situation of Huapu company. Then the author adopted SWOT analysis method to analyzed the internal and external environment of this company and pointed out its advantages and disadvantages after identifying Huapu company's opportunities and threat from the outside environment. Second, on the basis of the analysis result, the author made market segmentation and confirmed the target market according to the function and demand characteristics of this company's product and its own resources and capability.
