The Research For The Independent Director System On The Base Of Corporate Perfanmance

Corporate management has been a common concern of the companies in the world. However, the managerial patterns may vary with heterogeneous traditions, cultural backgrounds, and political and economic systems. In the course of the world's economic development, each pattern correspondingly plays a dominant role in different periods. At present, as a special section in the company, the independent directors play an active role in balancing the benefit conflicts between shareholders and managers, supervising and regulating "inner circle control", and optimizing corporate management.In our country, introducing the system of independent directors is a gradual process. Its official debut was on Aug. 16th 2001, when China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the Guidelines for Introducing Independent Directors to the Board of Directors of Listed Companies.
