In recent years, the country enlarges the farm machinery support; this causes the farm machinery's proportion in the agricultural production be more and more big. When researching farm machinery function, the contribution rate to farming is an important parameter. Correctly survey the contribution rate of agriculture mechanization in the agricultural can supply a scientific basis in recognizing the fanning machinery's status, controlling and directing the farming machinerys' development.This paper was directed by system theories, as well the unions of qualitative and quota, the theoretical analysis and the practice were used in order to research the contribution of agriculture mechanization to agriculture production.(1) This paper discussed the functions and the development of farming machinery in Xinjiang from the qualitative angle. The present situation in the domestic and abroad were discussed as well.(2) By discussing the theories and the methods of calculating contribution rate of agriculture machinery, a set of standard algorithm of having or not projection comparison was formulated, which suit Xinjiang well. This paper calculate agricultural mechanization's contribution according to different periods, 36% was got in recent years. At the same time, it confirmed the usability of each kind of methods, and discovered their limitation. The influence factors were analyzed, the revised models were also proposed.(3) The quality synthetic evaluation method was used for the first time to calculate the contribution of agriculture machinery; it was used in optimizing analysis for the farm machinery according to the time series and the truncation pasta field.
