In the 1990s, market competition is becoming great intense, the enterprise can not win in the intense market competition by relying only on its own capacity. At the same time, the theoretical and applied research on supply chain management (SCM ) was developed very rapidly. Especially in recent years, SCM emphasizes the partnership between the companies in supply chain, which makes SCM be a management methodology from an activity management tool. The nature of supply chain management is to integrate the core competency of every node in supply chain and establish strategic partnerships between core enterprise and every other enterprise to obtain total competitive advantage. The application of SCM would make a great deal more sense to Chinese enterprises.The thesis starts from the background of supply chain management regarding production and development, which has been highly concerned about over the years. It analyzes the basic concept and advantages of SCM. It proposes that since the development of SCM, the establishment of the supply chain strategic partnership among enterprises and the coordination of the partners are the key parts of the supply chain management, which is also the central part of integrated supply chain management.Second, the thesis analyzes the basic development theory of the supply chain strategic partners and its building process, especially the selection of strategic partners in the supply chain, which is the basis of supply chain strategic partnership. It proposes the evaluation system of partners and uses the method of clustering analysis and a kind of comprehensive evaluation method to study the selection of supply chain alliance partners.Last, the thesis discusses how to maintain the supply chain strategic partnership and proposes some related measures.
