With the further development of market economy, China's social intermediate organizations have grown rapidly and successfully. The rising and developing of Trade Association is one of the typical phenomenon. In China, Trade Association plays unsubstituted roles as the follows: links the government and enterprises, helps overcoming both the government failure and market failure, stimulates democracy, and so on.This thesis focuses on China's trade associations, which are in a certain transitional condition. Outlined the paradigm of trinity of "Government-Market-Civil Society", this author tries to unveil the trade associations' virtual function compared with their rational roles. In keeping with this theme, this thesis falls into five parts:Part One sketches China's trade associations' developing background, that is, offers an overview of transitional society in China. During this period, trinary structure is becoming more and more distinct, by which government, market and civil society are structured, and the trade associations just resulted from the interaction between one another.Part Two is about the trade associations' role that the government expects them to play the part of themselves. Both the reality of government failure and the trade associations' empirical advantages in public management make the government want the trade associations to be its assistant.Part Three gives attention to the trade associations virtual roles as they are. Of growing importance is the trade associations' mechanism in market, the motives for economy liberty make the enterprises want China's trade associations to be their "servants" or "representatives".Part Four surveys the possibility of civil society in China, and also gives a portrait of its expectancy. The logical development of civil society, which is destinated to be our country's inclination, need trade associations to the fundamental dynamics.Part Five portrays trade associations themselves and their own choices. This thesis concludes trade associations' possible results. Because of the conflicts, there exists dissimilation, self-governing and politicalization. With a view to delving into the mechanism, this author coins the phase "tri-angle-institutionalization", and regards it as China's trade associations' developing path.
