With the change in the new era of industrialization, informatization,urbanization and other social characteristics of the overall situation of Chinasworkforce to grow rapidly, but showing a trend of increasingly complex internalstructure. Therefore, the masses of workers to carry out the work of trade unions hasbeen faced with many new situations and new problems. To this end, trade unionorganizations should actively adapt to the new changes in workforce development,earnestly fulfill help the party and the governments role as a link the masses ofworkers and innovative ways to work for socialist politics, economy, culture andother "four in one "Developing more contributions. This paper aims to studyvocational training for trade union work, providing a new way of thinking andinnovative approach to trade union work better fulfill its social functions.In this paper, the basic functions of trade unions,"Trade Union Law" provisionsof the cut, to study the mission, status and role of the new era of socialist tradeunion functions, combined with the union of vocational training in the functions ofthe functional role of trade unions, the union decided to work in a workers educationimportant force in the vocational training of workers plays a role can not be ignored;while Shanghai union vocational training, for example, studied the Shanghai TradeUnion vocational training development status and problems of trade union traininginstitutions, through the analysis of the German trade union vocational trainingsuccessful experience, and strive to improve the trade unions in the new period ofvocational training to help unions play better ways functions.Chinese trade unions must fully fulfill social functions maintenance,construction, participation and education, as the partys ties with the masses bridgeand link should give full play to the advantages of trade union organizations,vigorously develop vocational training to enhance the quality of workers, the numberof labor resources to help solve our country large, low overall quality, difficult toadapt to economic development, technological progress and economic structuraladjustment problems, and fully reflects the status and role of trade unions. Therefore, this paper based on the study of theory and Shanghai unions vocational training onthe current situation of trade union functions, recommendations for improvementShanghai union vocational training: First union should be more emphasis onvocational training, revising the strategic layout, strengthen governmentalcooperation, the implementation of "tripartite mechanism" for the union to buildvocational training services platform, establish a training network to protect the rightto education and training of employees, strengthen supervision and evaluation oftrade unions. Secondly, trade unions should actively promote the standardization ofvocational training, and continuously enrich the training program, trainees expanding,innovative training methods, to play their unions, trade unions urge enterprises toinvest training to fulfill training obligations, the trade unions and better vocationaltraining play its social functions.
