On The Network Morality Construction

With the rapid development and expansion of internet, it is increasingly influencing human beings' life day by day. It has provided human beings lots of benefits such as great convenience, freedom, as well as a large number of negative factors, which have caused a series of ethic and moral problems. Therefore, it is indispensable and urgent to construct network morality so that internet can bring benefit to human beings rather than do harai to them and so that the performing order of the internet society can be guaranteed and maintained.Nowadays people in theoretical circles differ with one another on the definition of network morality. According to the writer of this thesis, network morality comes into being to satisfy the objective need of maintaining the good order of internet society, so network morality should include the following aspects: to keep and maintain the good order of internet society; to adjust the interpersonal relationships of the individual "netizen" in the internet society; to deal with the contradictions and conflicts among them; to regulate people's network conducts and to establish the internet moral and behaviorial standards. The network morality is characterized by openness, autonomy and pluralism, etc. The nature of the network morality construction is to convert the fundamental principles, codes and requirements of network morality into the internal moral quality of each citizen by means of various feasible ethical controlling methods and measures, so as to improve the individual's special ethical quality and emergency ethical capability when in the empty internet world,The network morality construction should focus on how to achieve efficiency of it. The efficiency fundamentally lies in realizing the morality interiorization, the process of which is an organic whole of being disciplined by others and disciplining oneself, initiative and passivism, with phased characteristics. Thus, the systems of being disciplined by others and disciplining oneself, the systems of instilling and receiving, the requirements of being advanced and being universal must be integrated with one another in the course of the network morality construction.It is the most important task to construct the system of network morality.
