The Research Of BPR Method Based On Object Oriented

BPR (Business Process Reengineering) theory and technology were proposed in the 90's. The goal of BPR is to improve enterprise operation level by construct efficient and optimized business process. Combining the traditional BPR theory and the thought of OO (Object Oriented), this dissertation proposes OO-BPR (Object Oriented Business Process Reengineering) model. OO-BPR can overcome the traditional BPR's adaptability. Supported by the adaptive method, OO-BPR model can adjust variation situation automatically. This kind of flexible BPR can embody the entire enterprise business framework, and so have the support ability of information system and information instruction. OO-BPR model is periodicity increment BPR and improve periodically business process by construct process class and attribute. The first chapter of this dissertation is the introduction. In this chapter, consults Michael Hammer and other scholar's viewpoint and concludes that the deficiency of efficient BPR method results BPR failing. The second chapter of this dissertation describes BPR (Business Process Reengineering) theory and technology. And based on this, it discusses the traditional BPR modeling technology, such as Flow Charts, Role Activity Diagram, Integrated DEFinition3 and Petri Nets. And it analyses the three causes of the modeling technology's shortcoming. The first cause is that the traditional BPR modeling technology does not do deep research on flow activity. The second one is that the traditional BPR modeling technology does not span the waterfall development model. The third one is that the traditional BPR modeling technology does not consider the model's applicability. Finally by the method of it introduces that it is possible OO technology can solve the traditional BPR by the method of computer technology when solving the above problems in software development. The third chapter analyses the possibility of the combination of OO and BPR, based on the basic theory of OO. The OO method's essential is that it analyses, designs and realizes the system by some characteristics of OO method such as the classification, consistency, Polymorphism and successiveness and further more it differentiates and analyses the concept system in application field. However the method and advantage of OO is just the lacking part of traditional redesigning modeling technology. Therefore, the new modeling technology adopts OO as basic method, namely OO-BPR (Object-Oriented business Process Reengineering). Eventually, it introduces UML as the technology flat roof of OO-BPR modeling technology. The fourth chapter concludes the object of business flow, based on the brief summarization from two points of view of microstructure and macrostructure. The micro point of view is that beginning with basic composing elements of business flow, it conforms the object of business flow: input, resource, activity, regulation and output.
