As a traditional method of Ideological and Political Education, Model Education has special functions and been lasting the life-force for a long time. In pace with the time, the environment and people's ideology changing, educationists must study on development of Model Education Method, to develop the basic theory and the operation sequence on the base of experiences before. This is the demand of the development of Model Education Method itself. And this is also the demand of suiting people's ideology changing and improving the education results. This article generalizes the basic theory, analyzes the problems of Model Education Method at present, states the meaning, the significances, the motive force, the favorable factors and the counter-measures of the development. It consists of five parts:Part one: the basic theory of Model Education Method. This part expounds the meaning, the features, the operation sequence and the functions of the Model Education Method to pave for the deepening study.Part two: the problems of Model Education Method at present. It concludes model choosing is simple and people do not accept models, model sculpturing is short and people do not believe models, model spreading is deficient and people do not learn from models, model cultivating is imperfect and models' leading is limited. Analyzing these problems of the method is for the reference of the development.Part three: the meaning and significances in studying on development of Model Education Method. Expounding the meaning of the development of the method is the prerequisite. Stating the significances of the development is the value of the article.Part four: the motive force and the favorable factors of development of Model Education Method. The motive force includes the demand of educationists improving the education results, the demand of people's ideology changing and the demand of medium developing. The favorable factors are model resources, people's acceptation, the social developing, the medium developing and the theory developing.Part five: the countermeasures of the development of Model Education Method. This is the most important part in the article. The countermeasures include the new ways of choosing-model, sculpturing-model, spreading-model and cultivating-model.
