Research On Mutual Development Of Dalian City And Port In The New Situation

This paper, based on the previous study, continuously do the research of mutual development of Dalian city and port in the new situation of Dalian North-east Asia shipping center and "Great Dalian" construction. The paper analyses the theory of mutual development of city and port, giving the summary of history regulation .proving the mutual improving function and putting forward the strategy programming of mutual development of Dalian city and port. In the end, the paper makes the conclusion that the harbor of Dalian plays an important part in the economic development of Dalian city , the prosperity of harbor and city is a basic law; The development of Dalian port is in the critical period and mutual development is the only choice; It is necessary to establish the new model to achieve the goal of the strategic programming; we can take some measures to adjust industrial structure of the city, regulate the port scientifically , increase the amount of investment largely, integrate the whole harbor area and promote the passing environment of the port. The aim of the paper is to provide some facts for the port authorities of Dalian and Dalian municipal government to make decisions to promote the mutual prosperity of harbor and city.
