In recent years, developing personal financing has become an importantapproach for numerous commercial banks to realize personal finance service,transferring from simple liability business and middle business to all-directionsliabilities, property and middle business. At the meanwhile it also has become theprimary channel for commercial banks to provide personal financing businessproducts to the target clients. Based on this, further development for personalfinancing business will surely become one of the important contents for expandingpersonal financing service and increasing operating income for Chinese commercialbanks. Studying the present condition and development for personal financingbusiness has positive realistic meaning for enhancing financing service function andcreating operating income for commercial banks.This first part of the text begins with the necessities of developing personalfinancing business in Chinese commercial banks, analyzing from two aspects offactors of market and the profession itself. From the market factor, through theincrease of social wealth, formation of wealthy class and the increase of marketinvestment channels, it results that the external economic conditions for developingpersonal financing business is gradually mature. From the profession factor, the needsfor developing personal financing business for commercial banks are: one is to gainthe top clients in order to increase the competition in the industry, another is to searchfor the new increasing points for profit, and the third is to develop the combination ofbusiness. The second part of the text expatiates the current condition of personal financingbusiness development for commercial banks, through a flood of investigations. One isthat the recognition of personal financing business in commercial bank has beenincreased gradually; another is that personal financing business products althoughhave many, yet have not come a composition of forces, and the third is that bothsoftware and hardware of personal financing business need to be enhanced and therecognition from clients about personal financing business si not enough. At lastitemize the processes, principles and contents that commercial banks currently canprovide for the clients. Personal financing business service processes include sixaspects, such as understanding through communication, reach to common recognition,make investment strategy, implement plan, adjust plan shortage or carry out thedeviation and supervise and control the implementary circumstance. Financingservices need to follow the principles of 'pays as you go', safety, mobility, benefit,adjusting measures to person, financing for lifetime and increasing the quality.Financing services include two aspects of general client service and VIP client service.General client services are providing personal bank product service, bank product &service introduction and recommendation, business consult, etc. VIP client servicesare in addition to offer the services that general client have, also provide the servicesof 'green channel', telephone, E-mail reserve, discount, specialized financing, productcombination suggestion, finance and economy information, finance and economysalon, reminding, affection and bill delivery, etc..
