Current land acquisition system in China originated in planned economy years. As socialist market economy system has been established and gradually perfected, now the land acquisition system fails to adapt to the demand of the social and economic development, caused by lots of social conflicts and land disputes. Chinese government has been focusing on the solution of various problems caused by unreasonable land acquisition compensation system. Land acquisition system reform is being studied. Land acquisition system reform is a complicated systematic engineering, involved in a number of fields to be reformed and studied. Scholars have conducted studies from different angles and have not yet found a way of solution which is theoretically sound, practical in implementation and unanimous agreed on. Realizing that the key point to land acquisition system is land use function and compensation price, the author of this paper has studied the compensation price of farming land, expecting to make some contribution to the perfection and reform of land acquisition system in China.In this study, following theories have been applied, they are Marxist land rent and price, scientific development view point, land economics, assets and equity theory, ecological system value and external theory.
