Through discussing the theoretical basis of eco-tourism and the exploitation reality of Wulaofeng Scenic Area, this thesis studied some theoretical and practical questions and methods on the eco-tourism exploitation of Wulaofeng Scenic Area based on ecology, tourism science, geography and system science. The feasibility and strategies for eco-tourism exploitation and development in Wulaofeng Scenic Area were analyzed. The thesis reviewed the theoretical bases and development on the eco-tourism. The concept, characteristics and research development of eco-tourism were discussed in detail. On the basis of the classification of tourist resources in Wulaofeng Scenic Area, the eco-tourism resources were analyzed and evaluated using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, particularly using the AHP and Fuzzy mathematical methods. The results shown that the number of I and II level sites was 21 and 35, cover 15.1% and 25.2% of the total sites respectively; the number of III and IV level is 46 and 37, cover 33.0% and 26.6% respectively. This shown that the higher level scenic spots are small in the whole Scenic Area. And the most scenic spots should be further exploited and improved.Principles for the exploitation of eco-tourism were discussed. The whole Scenic Area was studied by classification of levels and regionalization. We got the following results: Wulaofeng Scenic Area was divided into six scenic regions and three potential exploitation levels. They were Wangguanyu, Wulaofeng, Yunxiange, Longtoushan, Gupuzhou and Huanghe'antan scenic regions. The number of international attractive resources was 21, cover 15.1%. The second and the third level are national and local attraction resources, covering 25.2% and 59.7% respectively. The tourism capacities of the six scenic regions were estimated. The tourism capacity for each scenic region was that: Wangguanyu 108.43 ten thousand people, Wulaofeng 139.08 ten thousand people, Yunxiange 104.31...
