Corruption is a deviant social phenomenon that the state functionaries abuse the public authority to seek personal gains. In order to eradicate corruption, get rid of the conditions on which corruption rely for existence, and remain the purity of both the state functionaries and the general mood of society, this thesis attempts to probe into the problem of corruption and construct mechanisms to conquer and eliminate this phenomenon by analyzing its causes.This thesis makes a theoretical research on the phenomenon of corruption from different angles by comparing different definitions given by relative countries and international organizations, so as to take the anti-corruption strategies with different characteristics as our logic starting point to analyze the causes of corruption and reconstruct our anti-corruption strategy. By classifying corruption and finding the commonness and individuality, we can find effective measures against and prevent corruption.This thesis also analyzes the inducing causes of corruption by economic theories of the economic man assumption, cost- returns and asymmetrical information. Moreover, it also makes an analysis of the motives of corruption, and then points out that many loopholes existing in our current social system such as gaps of the system, vacuum of power, deficiency of law, lack of supervision have provided the corruptive persons with space to commit corruption.This thesis bases upon the following facts to analyze the background on which the strategy of anti-corruption is put forward.: In politics, corruption has lowered people' s faith in government and exerted an influence on social stability; In economy, corruptive persons have destroyed the fair competitive environment of the market; In the international environment, we can use the measures of other countries for reference, such as the western countries or developed countries in Asia;...
