Studies On The Auto Industry ERP System Implementation Based On Supply Chain Management

Auto industry was an important industry in China, which not only produce high industry output value and broad industry relevancy effect, but also absorb high-tech and speed the improvement of industrial structure. However, compared with foreign auto industry, late market mechanism, high price, low market share restrict the development of auto industry of China. It is essential for the auto industry in China to implement enterprise resource planning system (shorted for ERP).This paper was established in the auto industry status quo of China. After reviewing the development history of ERP, analyzing the management thoughts contained in ERP, using the theory, method, steps and tools of project management and business procedure reengineering, combining with the character of auto industry, then brings forward the general ERP implementation mode of auto industry, that is the scheme based on project management and business procedure reengineering. Besides, this paper both sets up index system for selecting ERP system, analyzing the result's DEA validity by data envelopment analysis (shorted for DEA) method and sets up index system for evaluating ERP implementation performance by fuzzy judgement method. In demonstration part, this paper investigated the ERP implementation of YUTONG BUS co,ltd which ranking first in passenger carriage in China, then study its information planning, ERP system selection, solution, system implementation and financial return, at last analyze its success factors.This paper groped for the ERP implementation mode of auto industry, and I wish it can give some suggest to people who study ERP implementation theory, moreover, it will help auto industry administrators who want to implement ERP understand ERP correctly, select ERP reasonably, implement ERP successfully and appraise its performance all sidedly.
