It's generally said that modern PM is more and more popular with the development of the economics, especially with the development of the IT economics. More and more excellent project managers take more and more responsibility when developing the IT project and designing the other new products. But a bit depressed, the success rate to implement PM is quite low. PhD. J. Davidson Frame notes in his book PM in Organization Structure, the prime target of PM is how to affectively allocate the time, technology and manpower. PM, in management term, is about how to finish the assignment of project by process control and process improvement with constraints of schedule, budget and quality. The key of the PM is implementation. There should be a good management and control system to conduct the development process of a new product, from the concept starts to finish the design, until to produce it in the production line, with high efficiency. In my company, it's just the implementation of PM to introduce the new product from R&D to the mass production line and gain benefit. I'd like to discuss how to improve the production efficiency, how to reduce the cost and how to improve the quality by implementing PM in the introduction process of new product from the R&D to the mass production in this paper, using my knowledge of PM and my working experience. Also I'm appreciated if this paper could give a little solid suggestion to those spreaders of PM.
