| Since the first vehicle was made by Damele brother in 1886, it has been more than 100 years. Since then, each country has his own way for the auto industry. This thesis summarizes the different auto industry development mode of the different country with the auto industry history. Also this article sums up our auto industry history, the present situation and development mode. Though the analysis, comparison and utilization the experience of the great pays, the author proposes auto industry, specially passenger car industry development strategy in a not long time-do our best to expand the national auto industry, learn the experience of Japan and Korea. We try to realize our objective though the support of the government police, coexist of joint-venture and the private enterprise ,the strengthen the auto parts industry. It's imperative to abandon firmly hi mind the idea of learning the way of Spanish and Brazil -to chase "where is" but "who has"Simultaneously the author research the evolution of the R&D mode from the invention of the automobile. He tries to find his regular pattern. This article describe in detail the improvement of the DPCA R&D mode and organization. No matter which company, china or foreign country, the change of the R&D mode and organization is related to the company strategy and go around the eternal subject-reduction the development cost. The main ami is to meet rapidly the demand of the customer. Finally the author propose the future mode of auto product though the experience of the DPCA Elysee project.
