Total Productive Maintenance------TPM is a new idea that the total efficiency,total system and total staff involved of equipment management. It is the scientific theory of equipment management. It is also widely adopted by USA, Japan, Korea, etc. TPM enhanced the core competition greatly, and brought up the growing up of Japan after the World War Ⅱ and the accelerated the development of Korea. TPM is also applied by some inshore enterprises which achieve success finally. It is praised as the magic weapon of enterprise in poor condition.This paper uses the TPM theory, on the basis of further investigating to the enterprise's equipment management of the ripples, to analyze the enterprise' external environment in managing when they face the global integrated market competing more and more fiercely, material resource shortage, and traffic condition in the inferior position. Making every effort to tap the latent power through the inside and strengthening the managerial equipment in order to get innovation and breakthrough. Combining his own thinking in practice, the author puts forward the application scheme, implement measure and slow appraisal system of the TPM theory.While introducing the current situation and development plan of managerial equipment, the article analyzes the problems existing in the enterprise "competing equipments and asking for outputs". Thus the author devise a plan, mainly about "improving propose, protecting and saving itself and polishing up benefit" and recommend adopting thorough managing live—"5S", which emphasizes examining benefits timely, protecting and saving itself and surpassing oneself independently. At the end of article, the author generalized the preliminary achievement since the TPM theory been carried out, such as grave accident has never occurred, every comprehensive technology index has been improved obviously, the out put and sales weapon of enterprises, thus the confidence that the enterprise should be constantly developing TPM activity is strengthened.
