Basic Research On Tourism Concept Planning

With the rapid development of tourism, gradually perfection of market economy and appearance of tide of economy globalization, single tourism planning couldn't adapt to the variability of social development and the complexity of planning demand. Moreover, the logical contents of tourism planning also couldn't comply with the regulation of market economy. New change needs urgently a more effective planning pattern. Conforming to this tendency, tourism concept planning is born. As a type of planning which is starting, many fields of the tourism concept planning such as the theoretical foundation, technology and method also haven't formed a common recognization. There are still many aspects which deserve deep researching.This thesis regards the national practice of tourism concept planning in the current period as the chief part, compares and uses concept planning of city planning for reference. Through some practice of concept planning which are in different places, in different periods and have different types ,it summarizes some basic and common conception, concluding connotation, quality, feature, research contents and thinking of the tourism concept planning. On the basis of it, the paper further analyses the compiling methods of the tourism concept planning, and points out its orientation which should be further perfect. Finally, this paper takes Chuxiong Ten Month Solar Calendar Culture Park for example to research.This paper is divided into seven parts, including foreword and inclusion.The first part briefly introduces the paper's research background, significance, thinking, methods and basic frame. It points that tourism concept planning conforms to the new demand for tourism concept planning which raised by the new era, thus has great value, and plays an important role.The second point mainly discusses the basic connotation, nature and characteristic of the tourism concept planning from regional tourism planning, conventional tourism planning and tourism scheme, contacts them with each other. What's more, it points to the applied scope of tourism concept planning.The third part starts with analyzing some level of compiling system of conventional tourism planning and the relations between tourism concept planning and conventional planning, then turns out the level of object of tourismplanning research. The author argues that concept planning has illumination and guiding significance towards conventional tourism planning compilation. But it isn't the simplified version of conventional tourism, and couldn't take place of conventional tourism planning at present. Basing on summarize the research practice of national tourism concept planning, author generalizes the characteristic of research contents, then puts forward central contents, basic contents, frame and forms of outcome of tourism concept planning research.In the forth part, the paper discusses the research thinking and methods of tourism concept planning. Combining the case, it summarizes two types of main research thinking which are guiding—problem and guiding—goal respectively. Moreover, it analyses four kinds of methods of tourism concept planning such as regional analysis method, SWOT—PEST analysis method, guiding theory leading method and muti—plan comparing method.In the fifth part, the paper discusses the principles that tourism concept planning compilation should comply with, and uses the compiling methods of city concept planning for reference, further discusses the technical methods and routes of compilation of tourism concept planning. Finally, it indicates some orientation which should be strive for.The sixth part is a case about tourism concept planning. The author takes Chuxiong Ten Month Solar Calendar Culture Park for example, puts up research some important problems concerned by concept planning such as existing problems, development strategy conception, planning points and important approaches according to relative theories of tourism concept planning. This points out the orientation of the culture park's development.In the last part, the author summarizes the full text, and explains some problems which still needs further research such as the belonging of tourism concept planning, joining with the normal tourism planning and control quota and so on. Then it points out the paper's weakness and research orientation we should study in the future.
