Study On Public Sector Strategic Management: The Public Or The Private

Since the introduction of strategic management in public sectors, it has won great achievements and has changed the management of public sectors a lot, but at the same time it also got a lot of criticisms. Surely, strategic management comes from private sectors, but if it also can be used in public sectors? If it's application in public sectors changed the nature of public sectors? This article is just on the basis of introducing the boom and development of strategic management in public and private sectors approving the public nature of public sectors strategic management through comparative study on it's management differences in contents and methods in public and private sectors, strategic management is methods, not aims, so it can be used in public sectors.In the first part, on the base of introducing the concept of strategy and strategic management discusses the boom and development process of the private sector strategic management, and also introduces the trend of it's development. In the second part introduces the boom background of the public sector strategic management in detail, and on this basis introduces the development process of the public sector strategic management and it's new development trend. In the third part, on first discusses the differences of public sectors and private sectors, the differences of the public sector strategic management and the private strategic management, and also discusses the achievement and the criticism in the public strategic management during it's practice. In the forth part, introduces the constituent of it's subject,object and the environment, and introduces the process,model and methods of the public strategic management correspondingly. On these bases, the fifth part introduces the practices of strategic management in public sectors of western countries, and from this fetches out it's use for reference to Chinese public sector strategic management. In the end also introduces simply my own opinion of the hope to the application of the public sector strategic management in our country for it's management change.
