The Analysis Of Mass Media Element In The Contemporary International Politics

With the development of communication technology and the globalization tide, mass media intervene in the field of contemporary international politics more actively and positively as a kind of the soft power. From the perspective of motivation, process and effect, this dissertation attempts to analyze the mass media's position and influence systematically in the field of international politics on the condition of today's information era.Besides introduction and conclusion, the dissertation consists of five parts. The first part raises the concept of mass media and reviews the history of mass media development; the second part analyze the base and motivation why mass media intervene in its; the third part examines the way of how mass media functions in its; the fourth part evaluates the efficacy of mass media; the fifth part introspects the disadvantages of mass media. At the end, the thesis induces the conclusion: we should take the power of mass media more seriously.
