| In recent years, with the development of society and the changes of situation, the responsibility of the police becomes more and more important, and the relevant police image construction turns into socialization from its former private affairs. In the process of the police image construction, the supervision of public opinion about police is a must. Therefore, it becomes increasingly urgent to strengthen and improve the relationship between the supervision of public opinion and police image construction.After several years' efforts, the public opinion supervision improves to a certain degree, and plays a certain role in the development of police authority, police image construction and the media. Nevertheless there are some unsatisfactory phenomenon, such as the ill-treated, false and ill-willed reports about police, some policies organization's hostile attitude and no cooperation with the press, and in some places, there is an intense conflict between the press and police, therefore their relationship needs bettering, adjusting, and interacting.Healthy public opinion about police and good police image are very important in the modern society. This paper, based on the opposing and integrated theory of contradiction, makes analyses on the relationship between the supervision of the public opinion about police and the good police image construction to find out a reasonable solution to finish the construction of both, to realize the positive interaction of each other and to promote and guarantee the justice. |
