On The Political Philosophy Thought And Practice Of Liang Shuming

Liang Shuming (1893—1988) was one of the most famous scholars, thinkers, philosophers and social actors in 20^th century in China.What he concerned about in his life were two problems: "life problem" and"Social problem" .He acted on the traditional sprit of Confucian intellectual, and analysed Chinese society and civilization with it. He believed that China problem was only civilization imbalance and not others, and which was the origin of all problems of China. If it was expected to solve, the only way was to revive Confucian civilization. The key of the problem was beginning with countryside and practicing his"rural construction" .This paper starts from Liang Shuming' spolitical personality, the comprehension about civilization and society of China and the Western, the construction of ideal society as well as the methods of solving Chinese problem to interpret Liang Shuming's political philosophy thought and practice and gives an objective praise.
