Analysis Of Liang Shuming's Rural Construction Theory And Practice

This essay is a research of Liang Shuming's Rural Construction Theory and its application. In spite of the failure of his practice in Guangdong, Henan and Shandong provinces in 1920s and 1930s,some significant achievements provide referrances for the current development of China's new villages.This article consisits of three parts: prewords,body and conclusion.The first part of the text analyses the origins of Liang Shuming's theory, and point out the background of its formation and development.Based on the analysis of the cultural as well as the political environment of the time, Liang Shuming discussed to solve the problem of China to take the theory of rural road construction ideas.The second part of the text, also the key part of this article describes the practicing process of Liang Shuming's Rural Construction Theory. The practice was primarily carried out in Zouping County of Shandong province. This part narrates the application process from three aspects:organization construction; economy development and education promotion.The reasons for rural construction of Shandong province are also analysed.The third part of the text gives a detailed description of the critiques mainly from the Independent Comment Party represented by Hu Shi and China Rural Party represented by Sun Yefang. Liang Shuming's reflections and confusions are also inculded.
