Comparative Study On The Thought Of Mao Zedong's & Liang Shuming's Rural Culture Construction During The New-Domoratic Revolutionary Period

Now people are constructing new rural culture.It is an important aspect of new rural construction, deciding if the rural areas develop sustainabily and healthily.It plays an important role in promoting the rural reform and development. The new rural culture construction requires the guidance of scientific theory,.The theory must not only reflect the law of culture development, but also be based on the rural current actual situation.So it must not be any other theory except Chinese up-to-date Marxist theory. In view of this, comparatively study on the thought of Mao Zedong's and Liang Shuming's rural culture construction during the new-democratic revolutionary periond and explore the effective rural culture construction theory. It has a very important theoretical and practical significance in helping the new culture construction to solve the "three rural" problems.Firstly, this paper began with the context of time of Mao Zedong and Liang Shuming's rural culture construction in the new-democratic revolutionary period, gave an analysis of China in the 20s-30s of 21c. Because of foreign imperialist aggression and domestic wars between the warlords as well as frequent natural disasters, rural economic was declining and social problems were arising. In order to save the nation from peril, and explore a way out of the country, many people put forward their own ideas of national salvation. In the trend of salvation by education or revolution, the rural culture construction appeared.Secondly, through extensively reading Mao Zedong's & Liang Shuming's writings and the relevant research literature, investigating the history of their practices of the rural culture construction, the author highly summarized, refined their courses of development, their main content ,their theoretical basis and practical basis , their objectives and ways of construction, as well as the characteristics of their thoughts of the rural culture construction in the new-democratic revolutionary period. Through comparison, their similarities and differences between the two were revealed. Thirdly, on the basis of comparison of the thought of Mao's & Liang's rural culture construction in the new-democratic revolutionary period, the paper analyzed their similarities and differences.We came to a conclusion--Mao's success was not from the only book or up, but reality. In practice, Mao consciously Chinanized Marxism , used Chinese Marxism to guide the rural cultural construction.On the contrary, Liang's failure of rural culture construction was because of his lack of a correct understanding of society, as well as subjectivity of his "Village Construction Theory" .While the consistency of their thought of the rural culture construction showed China's speciality and ways of village construction.On the basis of the analysis of differences and similarities between the thought of Mao's & Liang's rural culture construction. we come to an enlightenment, that is, from the current rural reality , we study new situations and solve new problems, stick to innovate Marxist theory in China. At the same time we use the basic experience of Chinese Marxism to better guide the rural culture construction.Particularly, according to the reality of the peastants' low quality,we must strengthen peasant education to improve the peastants' quality , uphold the mass line to educate the peasants and actively strengthen the rural cultural organization to guide intellectuals to serve "agriculture" in the new rural culture construction .
