The Study On The Village Democracy Practice In WuQing District

Current China is in the period of society transition , while various problems andconflicts are very serious , especially in rural society. This situation exerted negativeinfluence on all-round development of rural society. Democracy, legal system andjustness is the core of the establishment of harmonious society. In the background of"administrating with democracy " and "building harmonious society" putforward bythe centre government , the study on the village democracy practice in WuQing Districtis practical and valuable. Starting with analyzing the village democracy of Wuqing District in Tianjin in recentyears, using the theory of ecnomics, sociology and political science, throughquestionnaire investigation and contrast analysis , this paper elucidated the pushingway and effect of village democracy in Wuqing District, dissected the cause of itsformation in respect of macro and micro environment as well as democracy systemsupply, pointed out that pushing village democracy is a fundamental undertaking to theall-round development of rural society, which can guarantee the social stability,strengthen democracy in rural grass roots, and promote the growing of economy.Current problems in pushing village democracy were studied in this paper. Theweakeness of efficiency in pushing democracy system were analysized, which was dueto system's relying-on-path and its own defects, which need to be improvedcontinous. Principal-Agent Theory was employed to analysize realistic problems;The key to design the system of village democracy was pointed out;Advice was givenon the path-chosing of village democracy, systematic building of environment andsystem supply.
