"Exporting Democracy"policy has been occupying a important position in diplomacy of the United States. Since the end of the cold war, a huge change has taken place in world situation. As the only super power, the United States is trying to establish mono-pole hegemony lead by itself. Upholding the banner of"Global Democracy Promotion", relying on its strong military, economic and cultural strength, Bush Administration has made great efforts to infiltrate, overthrow and interfere with other countries, which made profound strike on geopolitical situation on Eurasian Continent which caused relevant influence on China's security environment and harm China's national security. Therefore, the research on new change and characteristic of"export democracy"policy of Bush Administration will provide a new approach to further study on U.S. national security strategy of establishing mono-pole hegemony which has important theoretical and practical significance.Applying method of documentation study and historical analysis, the thesis discusses new change and characteristic of"export democracy"policy of Bush Administration on aspects of content, form and means, then points out the essence, influence and prospect of"export democracy"policy of Bush Administration. The author thinks the"export democracy"policy of Bush Administration with aim to forge mono-pole hegemony in the world will encounter both internal and external restrictions, which will confront with resistance and opposition, the goal of establishing mono-pole hegemony of the United States is doom to failure.
