Finance is the core of modern economy, and banking has a very important position in finance. But there are systematic risk and crisis in banking. Therefore, all the countries of the world attach great importance to banking supervision and the cooperation in this field for economic development today.China and Kazakhstan are linked by rivers and mountains, and the two countries have a lot in common, including some general characteristics in the history, present situation of the economy development and banking system. At the same time, the trade contacts between China and Kazakhstan have been more and more close together in the recent years. Consequently, the comparison of legal systems in the field of banking supervision between the two country has the important theoretical and realistic meaning.Beginning with the establishment and development of legal system on banking supervision, banking supervision system and banking supervision content between China and Kazakhstan, this paper tries to analyze and compare the two countries'legal problems, such as the background and course of banking supervision, establishment and development of legal system, the establishment and responsibilities of banking supervision agency, bank licensing, the on-site and off-site supervision, the revocation of the bank's license. On the basis of these comparisons, we will analyze the special characteristics, the general features and reasons. Moreover, we will further to put up policy suggestions on Chinese banking supervision.
