Analysis Of Status In Quo And Study Of Community Support On Social Vulnerable Groups Of City

Chongqing is an old industrial city. With social overall transformation, the reform of economy system's deepening, and the urbanization process's acceleration, a large number of vulnerable groups emerged and enter the urban community after the system of unit disintegrates in Chongqing. This new kind of vulnerable groups includes unemployed laid-off, retired personnel,"Outside the system"pure resident and rural worker. Problems that they exist in such aspects as economy, politics, society, and psychology make people worried. Therefore, a series of social concerns initiated can't be ignored. This caused great attention by central Government, especially Municipal Party committee and government of Chongqing. Many experts begin to study this phenomenon in series. However, can the problems of social vulnerable groups of urban community to settle down smoothly, which not only relates to the development of whole Chongqing and the process of west exploitation, but also concerns the social stability and realization of goal of well-off society of the comprehensive construction. So, we choose one community where social vulnerable groups relatively concentrate to study, trying to learn the general status of the whole social vulnerable groups of Chongqing deeply through case analysis.In this paper, we use such methods as literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, observing on the spot and deep interview, to learn present situation of case community and its social vulnerable groups, to conclude their outstanding problems. Then, under the guidance of social support theory and community managing theory, the paper puts forward a fundamental idea, community support network, which includes community's management system, community's service system. If the community support network can get supports from government and society, it will run harmoniously to meet different vulnerable groups'demands, to adjust their psychology and improve their capacity of survival and development. So, making the network turned into reality can not merely make the social vulnerable groups extricate oneself from a predicament completely, but also can create a harmonious and healthy community environment for survival and development of the offspring.
