The Research On The Strategies Of Social Support For Vulnerable Groups In China

The paper classifies the concept of the social vulnerable groups from the sociological angle. On this basis, it firstly analyzes the concept, the scope and the reasons of the social vulnerable groups systematically, expounds the concept, forms and characteristics of social support system and discusses the necessity and the importance to pay attention to the social vulnerable groups; Secondly, the paper constructs the theory frame in process of seeking for the responsibility of government and market, analyses the current situations of the social vulnerable groups and explains special reasons why the social vulnerable groups are formed. Finally, the paper probes into the current situations and the problems of social support, seeks the solutions to the social support from different perspectives such as supplement, development and compatibility on the basis of the value foundation, the basic goal of social support and proposes the policy patterns and the system of society support which suit the characteristics of Chinese national conditions.
