The Thought On Improving The Quality Of Nationals In New Era

Now the world is entering the 21st. With the profound reforms of the economy science, technology and the society, the quality of nationals is becoming the most important factor in the international rivals. So far as to the reality of our country, it is impossible to realize the revival of our great People and the continuous development of our society. It is a great challenge for us to inherit the essence of the History as well as absorbing the modern civilization. The CCP and the Authority are always paying much attention to the quality of nationals. But it is the case that the quality of nationals including spirit, moral potentiality etc. is not regarded as a dear resource, when the developing strategy is being enacted in some areas. There are some people who do not realize the importance of the quality of nationals as an individual So it is an urgent and realistic tusk to improving the quality of nationals to adapt the changes of the world's tide and the requirements of the developing economy. The thesis is just based on the above background to make the quality of nationals as an object .I try to present the suggestions on improving the quality of nationals though the analysis of the problems and the causes about the drawbacks of the quality of nationals. I wish I can express my strong feeling about the quality of nationals and the development of the country.The thesis consists of five parts except for introduction. The first touches on rudimentary understanding of the quality of nationals such as its definition, differences among the individual quality and the population quality; and then briefly introduces the theories of Marxism on the quality of nationals and the importance of improving the quality of nationals .The second part sets forth the targets of building a high quality of nationals, which is illustrated from economy, politics and culture. The third part inquires into the present conditions of the quality of nationals and put especial emphasis on the drawbacks of the quality of nationals. The fourth part analyzes and generalizes the reasons of drawbacks about the quality of nationals. Some suggestions on how to improve the quality of nationals is extended from two aspects: one is from the angle of the whole society including the ideological leading and the efforts in economy, politics and culture ,and the other is the efforts of each individual.
