The college of armed police forces emerged at the crucial time of new military revolution and military strategy transfer in China. And it formed and developed under the new situation of reform and socialism market economy. During the period, soldiers' moral characters has changed greatly and presented their own characteristics: they tend to combine the realization of personal value with the contribution to the society but tend to neglect moral value; they approve of collectivism but have a tendency of individualism, money worship and hedonism; they pay more attention to practical ideals and lack faith; their moral character is between experience and theory and the capacity of moral behavior is to be improved.The traditional soldiers' morality in China is profound and has a long history. During the advancement and evolution of ancient military practice, it is formed that traditional soldiers' moral sense and moral belief. It includes: the sense of patriotism, moral courage of awe - inspiring righteousness, the sense of highly disciplined, the spirit of arduous struggle and the teacher's effect in military college. At present moral education is influenced imperceptibly by the good traditional soldiers' morality and presents some cultural feature.How should we carry on and develop the good traditional soldiers' morality to make it have more times features and new vitality. The following is our suggestion: firstly, we should strengthen the effect of soldiers' moral education and improve students' artistic appreciation by making use of traditional culture features. Secondly, we should create spiritual culture with military college features. Lastly, we should faster students' capacities for moral cognition and judgment.
