The idea of setting up an international criminal court has been put forward for a long time in the international community. But it was not established until July 1st, 2002. On the other hand, but the United States, being the most developed country, and China, the biggest developing country in the world, did not ratify the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. This has inspired me to regard the International Criminal Court (ICC) as selected title of the thesis.This thesis includes six parts altogether, mainly involves the jurisdiction of the ICC, the relationship between the ICC and the Security Council and states, some deficiency of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and its perfection, and the feasibility of China accede to the ICC.In the introduction, we will mainly talk about the background that the ICC establishes, the impact and the realistic meaning of establishing the ICC. In chapter one, this thesis will make an introduction on the question of jurisdiction of the ICC, one of international criminal court's important contents which includes the crimes prosecuted by the ICC, the nature of the ICC jurisdiction and the enforcement of jurisdiction of the ICC. Therefore draws chapter two of this thesis, the relationship between the ICC and the Security Council and states.
