Social Venerable Groups And The Legal Protection On Them

With the rapid development of the Chinese Market Economy and the accompanying drastic reconstruction of the society, the social vulnerable groups, as well as legal protections on such groups, are gaining increasing interdisciplinary attentions from researchers in sociology, political science, and judicial science. Utilizing methodologies of surveying and analytical reasoning, the studying on the social vulnerable groups and corresponding legal protection measures in this paper is relatively macroscopic, and especially on the advices about the legal protection on such groups is more directional getting at the root of this issue.Generally so-called social vulnerable groups are those whose possessions of social resources are at a reduced level as a result of constraints posed by certain conditions, and whose social statuses are in fact unjust and subordinate, who are unable to fully exercise their powers and rights, and who are subject to inferior or disadvantageous positions in social competitions. At present, the outspreading of social vulnerable groups and the outcry for legal protection on these groups have become interfering and impeding social problems to the healthy development of the Chinese society. It is of theoretical and practical significance that the protection on social vulnerable groups, which would ensure social justice, realize maintainable social development and make a progress on the construction of a socialistic harmonious society. Although multiple avenues are available to protect social vulnerable groups, legal protection is a valid method, considering the spirit of modern law monocracy, the function of laws in a society and the particularity of the social vulnerable groups, and studying the issue from the view of rights is particular in this paper. Although the Chinese government has made some benchmarks in providing legal protections to social vulnerable groups, even greater efforts are to be made in the construction of legal framework, the improvement of the law and the innovation of legal system.
