A Research On Factors Influencing US Policy Toward Taiwan Issue

US policy toward Taiwan Issue is an important factor that affecting the current situation and the future of Taiwan Issue, which is the core problem of the relations between the US and China. The impact of the US government is more obvious on Taiwan Issue, such as the contest for power between the US President and Congress. Although the President has overwhelming power of policy-making, the Congress could not be ignored. None of the factors work alone.
