From the view of international strategy and national security strategy, the geography factors act as the certain geography strategy relations. Therefore, the geography strategic research attracts attention from the world main country and the unit when carry out their politics, the military, the diplomacy, the economical strategy.In the new century, there are some deep levels changes in the field of world military security. Some important countries and units adjust their military strategy and the defense policy, when the geography factor is the significant factor to be considered. The security boundary of China has already remarkably expanded, and it is no longer limited to the traditional territory margin for safety. Any country when establishes their own geography strategy, give prominence to the important influence of the peripheral locality on their own country. Consequently, it is extremely necessary to study the geography environment, understand the consideration of geo-strategy from related country, specially the land and sea powerful neighbor and the world main nation, as well as to research the direction of contemporary China geography strategy.This thesis explored the concept of geography strategy, evaluated the geo-strategy theory of Chinese and foreign countries; studied the development and the evolution of Today's world geography strategy pattern; analyzed the historical experience of geo-strategy practice and the characteristic of the Chinese peripheral geography environment, and proposed the options for Chinese new century geo-strategy.
