Study On Accelerating The Development Of Shanghai's Aging Community

Our country has rapidly entered the aging society. With the sharp increase of aging population, the immense pressure and great challenges have been brought on the social aged care projects. As a key part of Development of "Harmonious Society", to advance the quality and happiness of the aging life is close related to the aging house, which is directly infected by the difference of the model of serving the aging. To accelerate the development of the aging community which is according to the social background can make a great action to advance the aging industry. Under such background, this thesis makes a theoretic and practical research of the issues for the development of Shanghai's aging community.First, the thesis deeply analyzes the conditions of Shanghai's aging society and serving the aging, on which some related development prediction is made. On the basis of these, some conclusions including aging degree is getting high and the demand of aging service is much huger than its supply are made, which inflects the social basis and real significance of the research.Second, the thesis compares the current models of serving the aging on the basis of the related theories. Then, according to the developing experience of aging communities in foreign countries, the thesis summarizes the inspiration on the development of Shanghai's aging community.Third, on the basis of above two, the thesis gives a series of suggestions on the acceleration of development of Shanghai's aging communityFinally, the thesis quotes two cases to illustrate that the samples aging communities are made in Shanghai. The last chapter summarizes all contents of the thesis, and makes an outlook of the further studies in this area.
