The Study Of Perfect The System Of Community-based Aging Service In Shenzhen

There has three main ways for old-age caring: family supporting, organization support and community supporting. As the number of elder has increased sharply, we already have caught in getting old before getting rich. Due to the fast development of economic and the social value changes constantly, the organization of family becomes smaller than before, so that the advantage of traditional family supporting has fading away. And organization support do not conform to the culture of filial piety, beside it is really hard to have a room to live in the nursing institution. The rise of community make the elders think different, and community supporting combine with the advantage of family and organization support, so it becomes the first choice to deal with the aging problem.Shenzhen is always ahead of curve, but already wandering before the threshold of aging. It makes that how to improve the service system of community supporting become very seriously. Even though it has achieved kinds of accomplishment through the implementation plan of the pension service in community, but there has certain vary from the developed country and the city already walk into aging. How to deal with the discrepancy between the demand of elders in life, emotion and culture and the fading of family and organization’s functions, and how to solve the aging problem made by the lack of function of family and organization supporting, how to transition to aging society smoothly have become the important issue for all levels of government and the board masses. Under this kind of situation, there has important academic meaning and value to study the improvement of the community aging service system in Shenzhen.This study adopts documentation analysis, questionnaire method and Empirical Analysis. There has a brief review of the study in domestic and foreign, then defined some concepts that relative with community supporting. And this study has used Maslow’s demand theory, multi-centre theory and social embedding theory as theoretical support.This study takes six typical communities in Nanshan district to field research. Totally 250 elders were investigated with simply questionnaire and short interview, the effectively questionnaire has 215 copies. Afterwards, according to the comparison of the demand of community aging service and available service items, it is very clear to see the shortage of the community aging service system. Based on the data from filed research and analysis, combine with the real demand, come up with some strategies in the following way: policy guidance from government, effective support from financial, broadens the source of the funds, courage social organization to take part into, let the marketing take control the aging service, rebuild the social culture, make sure the elder will have their own value, take serious on the training of the service staff.
