With the widespread transition of economic system and the transformation of social structure in China, female employment is getting more influence and shocks; the problem of female informal employment becomes increasingly prominent. Informal employment is of great significant to the female's living that is not able to get back to the formal employment position after laid off. Female informal employment varies a lot from formal employment in career level, labor payment, social security, etc. This paper focuses itself in the analyses of the situation, reasons and influence of female informal employment in order to make some constructive suggestion.The paper uses Literature Research Approach, Comparative Analyze Approach, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis in order to solve the problems below: complete description of female informal employment situation; reason analyses from supply and demand factors; the situation and inspiration of foreign female informal employment; constructive suggestions to improve national female informal employment.The paper is composed of 7 parts. The first part introduces the purpose and significant of the paper, literature review and research approach. The second part makes the definition of informal employment and the corresponding theories. The third part makes complete description of national female informal employment situation, points out the increasing tendency of female informal employment, and analyzes such influence to employees. The fourth part gives the reasons to the problems from both supply and demand sides. The fifth part introduces the situation and inspiration of foreign female informal employment. The sixth part makes some constructive suggestions to improve national female informal employment. The seventh part makes the summary of the whole paper.
